Vokalis band Repvblik, Ruri menjadi tukang bangunan saat syuting pembuatan video klip 'Sayang Sampai Mati' di kawasan Depok .. Jawa Barat, Kamis (19/1) ..

"Ini lagu "Sayang Sampai Mati" .. Lagu ini dipilih sebagai single baru karena permintaan banyak orang .. Konsepnya pun enggak ada yang nge-band .. Kami coba yang lebih bercerita dengan akting," kata vokalis Repvblik .. Ruri di kawasan Depok, Jawa Barat, Kamis (19/1/2017) ..

"Saya pemeran utama ceritanya .. Kalau personel lain ada yang jadi pembeli atau penjualnya .. Kalau saya pribadi jadi tukang obat, kuli panggul dan tukang tambal ban .. Konsep ini kami buat untuk menyegarkan saja," lanjutnya ..

Senada dengan lagunya yang sendu, Ruri pun melakoni banyak akting sebagai orang miskin .. Pencetak hits "Hanya Ingin Kau Tahu" ini bahkan rela kulitnya menghitam terkena terik matahari ..

Ruri bersolo karier, meninggalkan Repvblik ??

"Seperti lagunya bercerita tentang orang susah yang memperjuangkan pasangannya .. Menunjukkan banget kalau cinta butuh pengorbanan .. Termasuk ini jadi hitaman (kulit) tapi enggak apa-apa," ujar Ruri Repvblik

Yang menarik, Repvblik menunjuk artis muda Marsha Aruan sebagai model videoklip "Sayang Sampai Mati" ini ..

"Tadinya ada beberapa nama model videoklip, tapi setelah dilihat Marsha Aruan yang paling cocok .. Biasanya kami pakai model baru yang belum terkenal .. tapi untuk yang kali ini memang pilih yang jago akting .. Karena untuk bisa menuangkan rasa sedih dan cintanya secara totalitas," ungkap Ruri Repvblik
